Hidden Until the Day of Birth

Lindsay, a teen parent, hid her pregnancy until the day she delivered.
Tiffany Leonida and Annie Rohde, our two Parent Life staff, were the only ones who knew Lindsay was pregnant. Thus, they were the ones she called when she went into labor, and the labor progressed quickly enough that they had to begin delivering Lindsay's baby in the elevator. Thankfully, Tiffany is a trained doula. Then, Tiffany and Annie walked with Lindsay through her decision to put her baby up for adoption and reconcile that with her family who was not supportive.
Lindsay selflessly chose the life of her baby over her own desires, and she has gifted this precious little one to a family who has suffered miscarriage after miscarriage. Lindsay has a lot of shame surrounding the pregnancy. She hid the entire pregnancy from her family up until the day of delivery. We are working with her through all of this. The plot has recently thickened for the worse and all involved, especially Lindsay, needs continued prayer.
